The cover is the first of its kind for PRIDE.COM, the leading source of socially-driven content for the LGBTQ+ community (especially Gen Z) as part of an exciting new initiative to deliver even more exclusive content every other month.

“There couldn’t have been a better project to kick off our digital cover series, and that speaks to our audience and ethos at PRIDE.COM more clearly, than High School,” said Rachel Shatto, Editor-in-Chief at PRIDE.COM. “The creative talents behind the series really opened up in our interviews on topics that, like the show, are extremely relevant to the challenges and joys experienced by queer youth today. Our digital cover gives us the opportunity to showcase the work of these talented women in new and exciting ways.”

High School, produced by Plan B Entertainment for Amazon’s Freevee channel, is based on the eponymous 2019 memoir written by twin sisters and musicians Tegan and Sara Quin. Starring newcomers Railey and Seazynn Gilliland, with Clea DuVall as executive producer, the series is a queer coming-of-age story recounting the indie pop duo’s teen years in the early ’90s. The series, drawn from the sisters’ perspectives, tells their personal and interconnected journeys before their rise to stardom. The show will premiere October 14 on Freevee.

The cover story is now available at PRIDE.COM and on Issuu, available here. Additional content, including behind-the-scenes footage, and videos, is available on PRIDE.COM’s social media channels. Follow @pride_site on Instagram and Twitter and find us on Facebook @pridesite.
