Out100 Covers throughout the past

Each year, Out releases the Out100: The longest-standing large-scale list recognizing LGBTQ+ people for their achievements, accomplishments, and impact on culture and society. Extending through Print, Editorial & Video Content on Digital and Social, Streaming, and a Red Carpet Event; the Out100 gives partner brands such as Lexus and McDonald’s the opportunity to show support for diversity and inclusion through the LGBTQ+ leaders making the greatest impact.

Guests got to strike a pose at the Out100 Photo Studio presented by McDonald’s giving participants a chance to appear on the cover of their very own Out100 magazine issue.

The Out100 was blessed by music superstar Lizzo when she sent Out100 honoree Aurielle Marie her AMAs gown to wear to the event to show the world she’s Out100% that b*tch in this viral moment.


GOOGLE PIXEL

A full 365-degree cumulative partnership with Google Pixel, spanning year-round four key programs activated across Out and Advocate Magazines. 

For Out's 30th birthday, Out magazine recreates 10 of its most iconic covers, captured on the Google Pixel 6 to celebrate Out's past with new images featuring the diversity and intersectionality of the LGBTQ+ community.

Zoom Out, the keystone program within the pixel partnerships kicked off the collaborations with recreations of 10 iconic and historic covers from Out’s History. These recreations touched within all levels of the community from HIV awareness to body positivity and even inspired fanart!

INSTAGRAM

equalpride activated Instagram’s inclusion-campaign at The Advocate’s People of the Year celebration through intentional partnerships across editorial, print, and digital. Culminating in an in-person luncheon event hosted at the Ace Hotel in Downtown LA, featuring Instagram’s custom Fit Out activation booth.

LGBTQ+ heroes like Dot-Marie Jones and Mrs. Kasha Davis share what The Advocate means to them while they’re honored at the annual People of the Year Luncheon.

To bring the Advocates People of the Year editorial to life, The Advocate partnered with the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles to host an intimate luncheon event. Timed to coincide with the November/December issue of The Advocate, the event welcomed honored guests for an afternoon of community camaraderie.

Custom reels content curated by Advocate’s People of the Year attendees inside the custom Instagram Reels Fit Out booth. All content collected has capacity to be used across diverse campaigns within the Instagram Reels branding. 


BEAUTY, FASHION & RETAIL

equalpride partners with Beauty, Fashion, and Retail brands such as Tiffany & Co., Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Nordstrom, H&M, and Tommy Hilfiger to create gorgeous campaigns that showcase each brand’s support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Out secured talent across the LGBTQ+ spectrum to be featured in a campaign inclusive of high-quality editorial and video content to organically connect H&M with LGBTQ+ individuals and allies.

Out developed and executed a custom campaign celebrating Tommy Hilfiger’s gender-neutral Pride capsule supporting The Human Rights Campaign Foundation featuring Alvin Ailey dancers in video and photography POS images.


KEY WEST

Out Traveler partnered with The Florida Keys & Key West to raise brand awareness and increase bookings to the destination by creating an integrated branded video campaign that leverages authentic Out Travelers. In branded video and content series Key West: Inside OUT, viewers were taken on a trip of a lifetime as four influencers journey to Key West to discover LGBTQ+ inclusivity on the island.

4-Episode branded video series highlighting Key West: “Inside Guest”, “Inside Dish”, “Out & Proud”, and “Inside Out”, each with different travel itineraries and recommendations for what to do.

Campaign included influencer partnerships with Laith Ashley, Arisce Wanzer, Marti Gould Cummings and Kate Austin. The video series syndicated to The Florida Keys & Key West booking site. 


Lexus | the evolution of family

The LGBTQ+ family is an evolution of the modern American family, and the Lexus GX is an evolution of an iconic family of vehicles. The Evolution of Family series captures the importance of acceptance in families.

Out have empowered acclaimed photographer, Roger Erickson to bring the series to life in a branded video series now available on Out.com. Talent included new parents Out100 honoree Leanne Pittsford, founder of Lesbians Who Tech, and advocate Kay.

Through a series of stylish, progressive, highly evolved film portraits, Out follows two families’ stories of evolution from the traditional American family. The narrative draws upon how the COVID-19 impact has even reshaped perceptions within the LGBTQ+ community.


Merrill Milestones

equalpride partnered with Merrill to raise their brand perception by demonstrating their commitment to serving the LGBTQ+ community and drive engagement with the Merrill Diverse Viewpoints study of affluent LGBTQ+ people.

equalpride authentically connected Merrill with affluent LGBTQ+ consumers by producing a multi-part branded editorial and video series, Milestones, that focuses on key questions about financial milestones tailored to the experiences of the LGBTQ+ community, and rooted in data from the Merrill Diverse Viewpoints study.
