LOS ANGELES - The Advocate, the leading source of news, politics, and entertainment for the LGBTQ+ community, is thrilled to announce Vice President Kamala Harris as the cover star of its July/August 2023 issue. The Vice President, a long-standing advocate for equality and justice, engages in a wide-ranging conversation on pressing issues, further demonstrating her commitment to advocating for marginalized communities.

The cover story, now available on Advocate.com, is a thoughtful interview conducted by The Advocate’s Senior National Reporter, Christopher Wiggins, that explores key issues revolving around bodily autonomy, legislative impacts on trans people, and the policing of people’s bodies, especially following the Dobbs decision. As the first female, Black, and South Asian Vice President, Harris offers an invaluable perspective on the repercussions of the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade.
