Los Angeles, CA – Equalpride, the nation's leading LGBTQ+ media company, is pleased to announce Kayla Gagnet as its new Executive Director of Digital Content. This move solidifies equalpride's dedication to accelerating digital growth and establishing a more potent digital presence.
The new position of Executive Director of Digital Content will be pivotal in enhancing the digital footprint of equalpride’s family of brands – Out, The Advocate, PRIDE.com, Out Traveler, Plus, and its new streaming The Advocate Channel – stimulating audience engagement across all platforms, and promoting a culture of growth and innovation. Gagnet will collaborate closely with each Site Director, ensuring premier content delivery to their cherished readers.
Kayla Gagnet is a recognized leader and strategist in the digital media sector, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the news industry. Having previously steered digital operations at The Times-Picayune and The Advocate, Kayla's contributions have been widely recognized. She has been decorated with the prestigious Green Eyeshade Award for breaking news coverage and notable acknowledgments by the Poynter Institute's Leadership Academy for Women in Digital Media and Editor & Publisher Magazine's Top 25 under 35.
